Apple to release iPad 2 in white as well?

9to5Mac is reporting on new images today, showing what they claim to be a front panel for the next-generation iPad, in the color white. Currently, the iPad is only available with a black bezel. The next-generation iPad is expected to be announced at Apple's March 2nd media event this week, featuring improved specifications. The front panel leak from today also shows a cutout for a front-facing camera, another expected feature of the iPad 2.

Apple hasn't had to much success with the color white in their mobile products, most notably the iPhone 4. Apple announced a white version of the iPhone 4, alongside the normal black one, when they first announced the device in June of last year. However, due to coloring issues, the company has yet to release the white version of the iPhone 4 to customers.
