Wednesday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 99,000 head versus a year ago at 120,000 head.
Live Cattle futures traded lower on Wednesday. Trading was choppy and mostly lower. April Live cattle was trading at 161.72, down 0.27. June Live Cattle was trading at 152.42, down 0.62. August Live cattle was trading at 149.82, down 0.50.
