Lean Hogs Sharply Higher

Wednesday's USDA hog slaughter was 421,000 head versus a year ago at 396,000 head. October Lean Hogs were bid up the limit at 65.40, up 3.00. December Lean Hogs were trading at 62.50, up 2.75. August Lean Hogs were trading at 78.55, up 2.67.
