Gold futures are unchanged at $1081 per ounce in Friday's session. At this time, it is trading inside the high and low from Thursday's session.
Before 9:00 a.m. ET, it spiked to $1088, which $1 shy of Thursday's high of $1089. Since reversing course, it has found intra-day support ahead of Thursday's low ($1073.80), only reaching $1078.20 and rebounding into the $1080 handle.
