CNBC's Stock Pops & Drops From January 5

On CNBC's Stock Pops & Drops, Guy Adami commented on a 12.19 percent decline in Herbalife Ltd. HLF. He said that the stock trades at its 52-week low and it looks to him that it wants to go lower. Dan Nathan explained that El Pollo LoCo Holdings Inc LOCO traded 2.96 percent higher on an analyst upgrade. He expects the stock to trade lower in February when it reports earnings. Nathan would wait for El Pollo LoCo to drop below $20 before buying. Karen Finerman said that United Rentals, Inc. URI dropped 10.95 percent on a downgrade from Evercore from Buy to Sell. She added that the stock has some energy exposure. Gilead Sciences, Inc. GILD gained 1.98 percent on Monday on the news that CVS gave exclusivity to its drug. Pete Najarian believes that this news is very bullish and that Gilead Sciences has a lot of upside potential. He thinks that it should be trading at $115.
