Canaccord Says A Deal Between Starbucks & Green Mountain Is "Inevitable" (GMCR, SBUX)

A research note from Canaccord Genuity says that a deal between Starbucks

and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters

is inevitable. This morning shares of Green Mountain are down on

that the company is considering entering the single cup coffee market. Canaccord Genuity says that after the deal with Kraft

ends on March 1, the investment bank believes a deal between Starbucks and Green Mountain is inevitable. Canaccord suspects a deal could come out of the new Keurig brewer technology that is going to be tested.
