Private Equity Firm Thoma Bravo To Acquire Blue Coat Systems For $1.3B

Blue Coat Systems Inc BCSI agreed to sell itself to private equity investment firm Thoma Bravo and others for around $1.3 billion. BCSI shareholders will receive $25.81 per share in cash, representing around 48% premium over BCSI's closing price on December 8. BCSI shares fell 1.41% to close at $17.48 yesterday.
