Dell Inc. is offering about $33 a share, plus VMWare, Inc. VMW tracking stock, worth approximately $8.00 per share to acquire EMC Corp. EMC, according to a source as reported by Bloomberg on Friday. Reuters reported Sunday, that EMC has asked that a 'go-shop' provision be included in its acquisition agreement with Dell. A deal could be announced as soon as Monday EMC closed at $27.86 on Friday, a gain of 2.5%. UTi Worldwide to be Acquired by DSV for $7.10/Share in Cash The Deal:
UTi Worldwide Inc. UTIW announced Froday, it has agreed to be acquired by DSV for $7.10 in cash per ordinary share, in a transaction valued at approximately $1.35 billion. The deal is expected to be completed in Q1 of 2016, UTi Worldwide closed at $7.13 Friday, up 51%. Anheuser-Busch InBev May Raise Offer for SABMiller to as Much as £44/Share The Rumor:
Anheuser-Busch InBev BUD could raise its takeover offer for SABMiller SBMY to as much as £44 per share, according to a source, as reported by Reuters on Sunday. SABMiller turned down Anheuser-Busch's must recent offer of £42.15 per share on October 7. Anheuser-Busch closed at $111.88 Friday, up 1%.
