Shares of Tempur Sealy International, Inc. TPX rose sharply during Tuesday's session following upbeat quarterly earnings.

Tempur Sealy reported a first-quarter FY24 sales decline of 1.5% year-on-year to $1.189 billion, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $1.213 billion. Adjusted EPS of 50 cents beat the analyst consensus of 48 cents, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Tempur Sealy International shares gained 6.6% to $53.48 on Tuesday.
