Republic Airways Holdings Reports January 2016 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ/NM: RJET) today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for January 2016.

The Company generated more than 738 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in January, a 12% decrease over the same period in 2015, on a 15% decrease in available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours decreased 19%, and the load factor increased three percentage points from the same period in 2015. Republic Airways carried nearly 1.4 million passengers during the month, a 15% decrease compared to January 2015.
