The third-wave coffee shop brings new American fare for Breakfast and Lunch to Westwood.

LOS ANGELES, Mar. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Comoncy Café, a colorfully modern and fast-casual café in Los Angeles opened its fifth location in February at 10900 Wilshire Blvd. #170A in the Tishman Speyer building on the corner of Westwood Boulevard, providing Wilshire Corridor with a newly built space to enjoy third-wave coffee beverages, as well as a healthy New American-style breakfast and lunch. Comoncy will provide Westwood's business community with a brand-new communal space to serve as a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of city life, where patrons can enjoy a fresh meal, or a latte or cappuccino accompanied by their house-made pastries.

At the forefront of Comoncy's unique third-wave coffee program lies their skilled baristas who utilize a customize Comoncy organic Equator Coffee blend, brewed using their custom-built La Marzocco coffee machine. The coffee program also incorporates organic milk sourced from Clover Farms, house-made vanilla syrup made with beans from Madagascar, and a wide array of espresso drinks such as the Gibraltar or Cubano. Chef Joseph Gillard, fueled by his passion for farm-to-table cuisine, has curated a menu focused on innovative items from sandwiches including their popular savory Chicken Panini, to innovative salads like the Thai, with distinguishing ingredients such as housemade chili-roasted peanuts, crispy garlic and peppadew peppers. Comoncy's breakfast options not only include organic egg dishes, but also contemporary spins on breakfast classics like their French Toast featuring Greek yogurt and agave syrup.

"We are excited to provide a fresh face to coffee and food on Wilshire Boulevard, as well as serve the community with both reliable and fresh corporate catering options for local businesses," says CEO Kevin Khalili on the new location.

To bring the vision of their new location to life, the group hired LA-based designer William Emmerson to design the new restaurant space. The café boasts a contemporary design mixing bright whites with splashes of their signature orange hue, floating silver travertine countertops, fresh flower arrangements, a beautiful spacious patio, high ceilings, and luminous copper tables with antique Bentwood chairs.

Born out of the need for a new level of coffee and sustainable fresh food options in residential and business communities alike, Comoncy opened the doors of its first location in February of 2014 in the City of Beverly Hills. The first location was so well-received that they have since expanded to include café locations in Studio City, Phoenix, and most recently, Westwood. Sister concepts to Comoncy include the iconic community restaurant, Coral Tree Café, the cozy hideaway Red Room Food & Wine Bar, and the re-imagined steakhouse Baltaire.
