U.S. stock futures were higher this morning, with the Nasdaq futures gaining around 50 points on Monday.

Shares of Seritage Growth Properties SRG fell sharply in today's pre-market trading after the company reported a loss for the first quarter.

The company posted a quarterly loss of 36 cents per share, versus a year-ago loss of $1.13 per share, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Seritage Growth Properties shares dipped 23.6% to $7.12 in pre-market trading.

  • MKS Instruments Inc MKSI shares declined 3.4% to $126.02 in pre-market trading as the company reported a proposed private offering of $1 billion of convertible senior notes.
  • Korea Electric Power Corporation KEP shares fell 3.3% to $7.29 in pre-market trading after declining 7% on Friday.
  • PENN Entertainment Inc PENN shares slipped 3% to $15.61 in pre-market trading. B of A Securities analyst Shaun Kelley downgraded PENN Entertainment from Buy to Neutral and lowered the price target from $28 to $17.5.
  • Burford Capital Limited BUR shares slipped 2.5% to $15.05 in pre-market trading after reporting first-quarter results.
