ZenaTech, Inc. ZENA disclosed on Wednesday that it signed the appropriate partner agreements for its supply chain to sell its ZenaDrone 1000 AI drone solutions to US defense branches and NATO forces.
The company recently participated in a Taiwan Trade Mission organized by the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) that directly resulted in these partnerships.
ZenaTech confirmed that all electrical components and the supply chain for its ZenaDrone 1000 will comply with the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) standards.
The company previously completed successful paid trials with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Naval Research, utilizing its drones for transporting critical cargo, such as blood, in field operations.
NDAA compliance involves adhering to the provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act, which sets the annual budget and expenditure guidelines for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) while addressing cybersecurity concerns.
To be NDAA compliant, products must not be sourced from a list of prohibited Chinese manufacturers, covering components such as chipsets, cameras, and displays.
The Blue UAS program is a government-approved supplier list for drone companies seeking to do business with the U.S. DoD. Suppliers must meet strict NDAA cybersecurity and supply chain sourcing standards.
The Green UAS program offers a similar process but with a more streamlined approach and without restrictions on the country of origin for manufacturing.
CEO Shaun Passley, said, “Our strategic relationship with the Arizona Commerce Authority has resulted in these important NDAA-compliant partners needed in order to qualify for the Blue UAS list. The next step is to complete the Green UAS list process, then we will be ready for the Blue UAS certification to be able to execute our plans to do more business with military organizations in the US, NATO and beyond.”
Price Action: ZENA shares are up 0.33% at $1.525 at the last check Thursday.
