Who are the winners in Piper Jaffray's market weekly on telecommunication services (AKA The Pipe Report)?
“The real value lies in scarcity: carriers with lots of spectrum are winners - those that are constrained are losers, in our opinion,” Piper Jaffray wrote in the report.
“AT&T T and Verizon VZ control the most (valuable) spectrum (not to mention valuable last mile residential and commercial connections), while the tower companies own the infrastructure for that delivery.”
AT&T closed Friday at $27.92; Verizon closed at $36.08.
