Lockheed Martin Awarded $791M GCSS-AF Contract

The U.S. Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin LMT a $791 million contract to provide IT services on the Global Combat Support System program. "Lockheed Martin is looking forward to continue the partnership with the Air Force implementing an affordable and innovative solution to fulfill the combat support mission area," said DeEtte Gray, Lockheed Martin IS&GS-Defense vice president for Enterprise IT Solutions. Work will include operations and sustainment of the enterprise infrastructure, delivery of infrastructure, data services, warfighter mission capabilities, and evolution of Air Force information technology architecture. The contract includes a period of performance of three years and four, one year options. Primary work will be conducted at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., with supporting operations and engineering locations at Hill Air Force Base, Utah; Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio; and Owego, N.Y.
