UPDATE: ReneSola Posts Q4 Loss, Projects Rise In Q1 Shipments

ReneSola Ltd SOL posted a fourth-quarter loss. However, the company projects higher shipments in the first quarter. ReneSola projects Q1 total solar wafer and module shipments of 400 megawatt (MW) to 420 MW, versus its Q4 shipments of 339.9 MW. ReneSola's quarterly revenue declined to $187.7 million. Its wafer shipments rose 10% to 245.4 MW. Its net loss came in at $36.7 million, or $0.21 per share, versus a year-ago profit of $61 million, or $0.34 per share. ReneSola shares closed at $2.46 yesterday.
