In a report published Monday, Deutsche Bank analyst Greg Poole reiterated a Buy rating on Verint Systems VRNT, and raised the price target from $35.00 to $40.00.
In the report, Poole noted, “Seasonally strong 4Q boosts results. VRNT reported non-GAAP revenue/EPS of $230m/$0.91 vs. our $227m/$0.76 and Street's $225m/$0.74, benefiting from seasonality and strength across segments. Guidance for FY14 of $903m/$2.75 at midpoint was slightly lower on EPS than consensus of $902m/$2.79, we believe embedding conservatism entering the year. The company's focus on shifting revenue mix to software and a gradually growing share of maintenance should uptick margins over time.”
Verint Systems closed on Thursday at $36.55.
