Netezza Up Again On Renewed Takeover Rumors(NZ)

Shares of Netezza Corporation NZ spiked this morning on renewed takeover chatter. The spike came about 20 minutes ago on decent volume. No word on who the potential acquirer could be, but many analysts believe it could be Dell DELL, which recently lost the battle for 3PAR PAR to Hewlett-Packard HPQ. 3PAR was recently sold for $33 per share, an absurd 100 times forward earnings. Shares of Netezza are now up 9.5% to $23.37, good for a gain of $2.03.
