Nike NKE is scheduled to report its fourth quarter sales and earnings Thursday at the market close.
In a report released Tuesday, Canaccord released its expectations on Nikes Q4 earnings, with conservative growth and mixed expectations.
Canaccord analyst Camilo Lyon predicts Nike's Q4 results will be unfavorable in a risk/reward sense. Lyon's predictions on Nike's downside risk/reward is given by Nike's 23.5x P/E multiple.
Canaccord estimates Nike's EPS to be $0.72, lower than consensus average of $0.75, and sales growth of 9.7 percent (inline with consensus). Lyon predicts heavy growth in Western Europe, estimating a 28 percent increase, while China projections a slight decrease.
Nike's previous guidance given on its Q4 EPS was a little below the mid-teens. Canaccord does not expect Nike to revise its 2015 guidance for the better in Thursday's earnings. Canaccord has previously released a price target for Nike at $71.00 per share.
