Samsung SSNLF is taking another stab at the wearable market with the Gear Live, its third smartwatch.
Is this the device to rule them all, or will other smartwatches persevere?
User complaints indicate that Samsung could have spent more time working on the device, which was unveiled less than a year after the Galaxy Gear 2 arrived at retail.
According to BGR, early Gear Live users have complained that the USB charging mechanism is easy to break. Like most 'smart' technology, Gear Live only comes with that single charging option. This has prevented some developers (who received the smartwatch at Google IO) from using the device.
"The feedback is still mixed to negative," Trip Chowdhry, Managing Director of Equity Research at Global Equities Research, told Benzinga. "They still feel it is work in progress, not meant for primetime."
