AMERCO UHAL, parent of U-Haul International, Inc. today reported net earnings available to common shareholders for its second quarter ending September 30, 2010, of $82 million, or $4.22 per share, compared with net earnings of $41.5 million, or $2.14 per share, for the same period last year.
For the six-month period ending September 30, 2010, net earnings available to common shareholders were $145.3 million, or $7.48 per share, compared with net earnings of $61.0 million, or $3.15 per share for the same period last year.
