Icahn Enterprises Blasts Higher For Second Day In A Row

Icahn Enterprises IEP share are trading higher by $4 at $61.01 in Monday's session. The rally is taking place on top of the issue's $5.54 gain in Friday's session. It has added nearly 18 percent or $9.15 from last Thursday's close of $51.85. The rally is reflecting large up moves in some of its holdings such has Federal Mogul FDML and Freeport -McRohan FCX over the last few weeks. If the rally continues beyond its current high of $61.71, there may be additional resistance at its January 7 high ($62.64), The all time high for the issue was made in December 2013 at $149.77, when Icahn was extremely active in the Twittersphere touting his big stakes in Apple AAPL and Herbalife HLF.
