USDA Export Sales; Soybean Futures Little Changed

The USDA reported today that Soybean weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending January 5th totaled 348,900 tonnes. Sales were down 71percent from the four week average. There were 57,000 tonnes of reductions for 2018. Soymeal sales for the current year totaled 119,100 tonnes. Sales were up 43 percent from the previous week and down 29 percent from four week average. Soybean Oil sales for the current year totaled 7,300 tonnes. Sales were down 77 percent from previous week and down 72 percent the four week average. March Soybeans are trading at 1012 1/4, up 3/4 of a cent/bushel. March Soymeal is trading at 315.5, up 0.6 $/ton. March Soybean Oil is trading at 35.88, down 0.12 cents/lb.
