Dell May Come Back With Bid For 3PAR (DELL, PAR)

Shares of Dell Inc. DELL are approaching their session highs, up 3.1% to $12.14. This comes as rumors coming out late in the day that the Texas-based computer maker might not go down without a fight in its takeover battle for 3PAR PAR. Last week, Hewlett-Packard HPQ announced it would bid $30 per share for 3PAR, upping Dell's $27 per share offer. Shares of 3PAR are currently losing 27 cents, or 0.8% to trade at $31.85.
