As the co-founder of MGO’s Chicago office, I play a pivotal role in the firm’s expansion in the Midwest. I oversee a national client portfolio, leading tax advisory projects that support clients at every stage of the business lifecycle, from inception to sale or a public offering.

My experience:

I am the leader of MGO’s national cannabis tax practice and represent the firm regularly as a thought leader in cannabis tax area at virtual and in-person conferences, including the National Cannabis Industry Association, Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference, and MJBizCon. I have also been interviewed on tax and accounting topics by Crain’s Chicago Business, the Chicago Tribune, REJournals, Bisnow, and Authority Magazine.

I lead tax engagements for cannabis clients across the country, ranging from startups to public companies. I have provided consulting on the tax aspects of several significant M&A transactions and roll-ups in the industry. I am proud to deliver creative technical tax solutions to my clients in a diverse array of industries, including health technology, medical manufacturing, life sciences, private equity, cannabis, SaaS, and construction.

I co-founded MGO’s Chicago office and prior to joining MGO, I worked for the 10th largest accounting firm in Chicago.
