Cassia Furman is an equity partner and Executive Board member at leading cannabis law firm Vicente LLP, where she provides strategic transactional and regulatory support to cannabis and hemp operators, ancillary service providers, and investors. Cassia is co-author of “The Cannabis Business: Understanding Law, Finance, and Governance in America’s Newest Industry,” published by Routledge Press, and has authored and co-authored numerous cannabis and hemp-related ordinances, policy papers and complex legal opinions. She is recognized by Chambers and Partners as a leading Cannabis Law practitioner, has served as a retained expert witness, and lectures extensively on cannabis and hemp industry topics including hemp-synthesized cannabinoid regulation, brand protection and multi-state expansion, and federal policy.
