Joining Canopy Growth in 2020, David Klein serves as CEO where he is committed to defining and executing the strategies necessary to realize Canopy’s vision and drive corporate growth.

Committed to the vision and CPG potential of Canopy during his time at Constellation, David was integral in Constellation’s first major CPG investment in the cannabis space, Canopy Growth. Since the 2017 investment, David has been committed to both growing and developing Canopy and advancing the industry’s fight to end prohibition through federal legalization.

David holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from State University of New York at Geneseo and an MBA from State University of New York at Buffalo. He has also served on Canopy’s Board of Directors since November 2018.
