David is one of the four co-founders of Fernway, the leading cannabis vape cartridge brand in Massachusetts. Fernway grew wholesale revenue to $21M in 2022 from $10M in 2021, and the company has initiated investments in new product categories (Pre-Rolled Joints and Top-Shelf Flower) and new states (New Jersey and New York.) Fernway owns a manufacturing & distribution license in MA & NJ, but mainly identifies and allocates capital as a brand. Fernway’s achieved all of its growth with $3M of seed equity funding, and recently opened a line of credit with a private lender.

David is the CFO who oversees Accounting, FP&A, HR, IT & Supply Chain Functions. Prior to Fernway, he worked in a variety of entrepreneurial settings before his accounting/finance career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and as a hedge fund investor at Fine Capital Partners where he covered public CPG companies including the cannabis industry.
