Erica Rice serves as co-chair of Foley Hoag’s Cannabis and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. As a well-known player in the cannabis space, Erica helps cannabis companies navigate the complexities of a new and growing industry while influencing industry guidelines where official rules are often not yet in place. Her practice is focused on representing buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, as well as counseling emerging growth companies regarding entity formation, founder’s arrangements, financings, exit strategies and general corporate governance. Erica received her B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Michigan and her J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law.
