George Archos is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Verano Holdings (Cboe CA: VRNO) (OTCQX: VRNOF), a leading, vertically integrated, U.S. multi-state cannabis company. The son of first-generation American immigrants, Mr. Archos’s successful entrepreneurial ventures started with the opening of his first restaurant at a young age after working alongside his parents at grocery stores and restaurants in Chicago, and presently span a multitude of industries. A veteran of the hospitality, logistics and operations sectors, he has extensive experience coordinating complex freight delivery operations, construction projects, and designing and operating a number of successful restaurants.

Mr. Archos entered the cannabis industry in Illinois in 2014 after witnessing the relief it provided a family member suffering from multiple sclerosis, and became the first operator to receive one of the state’s coveted medical licenses to grow medical cannabis out of 21 recipients. Leveraging his devotion to quality and a unique results-oriented approach, Mr. Archos has overseen the development of some of the cannabis industry’s most successful operations and trusted portfolio of powerhouse brands including Verano™, Bits™, Avexia™, Encore™, Savvy™, MÜV™, On the Rocks™, and (the) Essence™.
