Jesus Quintero, since December 2019, is the Chief Executive Officer, CFO, and Chairman of the Board for Marijuana Company of America (OTC: MCOA), which operates, invests, and acquires companies exclusively in the cannabis sector. The Company is a multi-state (licensed) operator and the parent company in the cultivation, distribution, and international consumer product sectors. Mr. Quintero is responsible for leading the Company’s global teams to help execute MCOA’s vision of identifying business opportunities and building an organization to maximize the value. Prior to MCOA, Mr. Quintero had broad experience in both domestic and international markets and served in a number of key financial and operational roles at various private and public companies.
He is an executive with over 30 years of experience. From January 2013 to September 2014, Mr. Quintero served as the Chief Financial Officer of Brazil Interactive Media, Inc., and since 2011, Quintero has been a recognized financial consultant to numerous international businesses. He has also held various executive management positions where he gained extensive experience in public company reporting and SEC/SOX compliance. Mr. Quintero held senior finance positions at Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), Latin Node, Inc., Globetel Communications Corp. (AMEX: GTE), and Telefonica of Spain. His prior experience also includes tenure with Price Waterhouse and Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Quintero holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John’s University and is a certified public accountant.
