Jim brings managerial, start-up, operating, financial and investing experience to his role as CEO, Chairman and Founder of Jushi. Prior to founding Jushi, Jim spent over two decades managing the business and allocating capital in senior management positions at several large hedge funds; two of which were early stage success stories.

Jim is Co- Founder and Managing Partner of One East Partners (US$2.3 billion (peak AUM)). Previously, Jim served as President and Co-Portfolio Manager of Sandell Asset Management (US$5.5 billion (peak AUM)) and Head of Distressed Debt for Halcyon Management, a global investment firm with over US$9 billion in assets. Jim has significant experience in private equity and operating several enterprises at the Board and management levels, including in the financial services, technology, chemicals and consumer/leisure industries. Jim earned his BA from Colgate University and his MBA from Harvard University.
