John has played an instrumental role in developing the US cannabis public equity markets and focuses on more liquid opportunities as Co-PM of Measure 8’s hedge fund. John was previously at FNY Investment Advisors where he spearheaded the firm’s first dedicated cannabis strategy, providing key growth capital to many of today’s leading national cannabis businesses while building comprehensive industry and market knowledge. John navigates the complex and evolving cannabis investment landscape through a mix of long/short equity, tactical, catalyst-driven and risk arbitrage trading strategies.
Measure 8 Venture Partners was founded in January 2018 by cannabis pioneer Boris Jordan.
