Julianna Paterra serves as Vice President of Investor Relations for Verano, (Cboe CA: VRNO) (OTCQX: VRNOF), a leading, vertically integrated, U.S. multi-state cannabis company. As one of the largest cannabis companies in the nation, Verano has active operations across 14 states that include 15 cultivation and production facilities and more than 150 dispensaries that operate under the company’s flagship Zen Leaf and MÜV retail banners.

In her role as a leader on the Investor Relations team, a position she’s held since joining the company in 2021, Ms. Paterra serves as a truster partner and liaison between the senior management team and the investor community, and works alongside the company’s Chief Investment Officer on stewarding Verano’s capital markets strategy.

Prior to joining Verano, Ms. Paterra gained extensive experience over the course of seven years in institutional investment consulting, where she researched asset managers and made allocation recommendations to clients. Subsequently, she also served as Investment Relations Manager on the Kraft Heinz investor relations team – one of the CPG industry’s most recognized companies with a portfolio of iconic consumer brands – where she gained valuable experience working collaboratively with colleagues across the globe.

Ms. Paterra earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and is also a CFA Charterholder. Outside of Verano, she also serves on the board of NIRI Chicago – the national association of investor relations professionals – as Programming Chair, where she helps organize and execute annual events with peers in the field.

A native of Pittsburgh, Ms. Paterra is based in the company’s Chicago headquarters office.
