As the National Cannabis Practice Leader, Michael’s goal is to make it as easy as possible to conduct business, by helping client’s network with cannabis companies and various professional services by leveraging technology to streamline client and carrier relations. His strategic approach to carrier relationships has built trust and developed ancillary coverages through pushing admitted carriers to work with cannabis clients. Michael works as an advocate by creating solutions for clients new to the cannabis insurance marketplace and developing professional consultative risk management results.

Michael currently supports public billion-dollar market cap companies in and out of cannabis, while overseeing 100+ cannabis-specific clients. He also sits on the advisory board at UC Davis Cannabis & Hemp Research Center.
