Nicole Cosby is the new Chief Legal and Licensing Officer for TYSON 2.0 and is responsible for supporting the strategic growth and development of the company’s expanding celebrity cannabis brand portfolio. Cosby formerly served as a board director for TYSON 2.0 before making the move to a full time corporate leadership role. TYSON 2.0 is a premier cannabis company formed with legendary boxer, entrepreneur and icon Mike Tyson.
A lawyer by trade, Cosby’s background spans brand strategy/licensing, digital advertising/data policy, and business alliance development across the advertising, media, fashion, and entertainment industries. Cosby was most recently Chief Compliance Officer for Fyllo – a next generation marketing tech and data platform that powers regulatory compliance at scale for cannabis and highly regulated industries. In this role, Cosby was responsible for Fyllo’s enterprise-wide governance and the successful enablement of consumer access to regulatory information spanning the company’s Data Marketplace and Regulatory Database solutions.
Prior to her work in the cannabis industry, Cosby was Senior Vice President of Standards and Partnerships for Publicis Media (global advertising holding company) and also held positions in ad product marketing, product management, and partnership development for Viacom/BET Networks, Verizon Media (formerly AOL) and Nine West Holdings. In 2018 Cosby was named as one of Cynopsis’ Top Women in Digital, received the Facebook/PMX Marisa Marolf Strength Award in 2019 and was named as one of Campaign Magazine’s Digital “40 Over 40” awardees.
Cosby also sits on the boards of Wesana – an emerging life sciences company championing the development and delivery of psychedelic and natural-sourced therapies to treat traumatic brain injury;and Rockhouse Foundation – a non-profit that transforms the places where Jamaica’s children learn and supports the great people who teach them. Cosby holds a JD from Howard University School of Law and a BA, in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University.
