Roman Stahl is a 10-year finance professional with a background in investment banking, data analytics, systems and cannabis. Roman joined Harborside in March 2021 leading the company’s Mergers and Acquisition, and Investor Relations efforts. Roman entered the cannabis industry in early 2018, founding Canndescent’s Corporate Development team where he raised $65 million in corporate and real estate equity and debt. He built the pipeline and evaluated 100+ acquisition targets, bringing 4 to definitive documents and managed a three-person business analytics team which drove FP&A and operational efficiencies.

Prior to entering the cannabis industry Roman was an Associate in Citibank’s investment banking public finance division where he managed over $50 billion of transactions. Roman holds Series 7, 63 and 79 FINRA licenses, received his BS, Financial Mathematics and Statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School.
