Steve is a former top 100 bank general counsel and Wall Street trained corporate M&A, corporate finance and banking lawyer. Since 2015, he’s been involved in over $2 billion of cannabis M&A and debt/equity finance transactions. While generally representing institutional acquirers and funders, including family offices, he also works with owner/operators who are dealing with the institutional players. Since he started working in the cannabis industry, one of his focuses has been on the intersection between the banking and cannabis industries and the opportunities and challenges it presents to each.
