Helbiz offers users living in urban areas on-demand access to affordable, easy-to-use scooters and bikes that are perfect for small trips, and feature on-board connectivity and electric-powered batteries. With the recent acquisition of market leader MiMoto, the Helbiz fleet now also features electric moped for loger distance urban trips. Helbiz designed this scalable, data-driven micro mobility transportation business with a focus on rider safety, the ability to reduce Earth’s carbon footprint, and an approach that works in concert with city leaders regarding regulations and deployment. Through the Helbiz app—which is available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store—users can geolocate our dockless vehicles and unlock them via the QR code on the handlebar. At the end of the ride, users can park their scooters and bikes according to each city's regulations. Members of the Helbiz team perform maintenance as needed, recharge them and reposition them in areas of highest demand.

Gian Luca Spriano
Director of International Business Development
Helbiz

Mr. Spriano is the Director of International Business Development for leading micro-mobility company, Helbiz. He has served in this role since July 2018, focusing on building Helbiz’s brand awareness in Europe, the United States, and Canada while simultaneously driving the individual city application initiatives and serving as the point for government relations. He also supports the initial operations set up in every market Helbiz enters, including helping to hire local talent and securing office and warehouse spaces. Prior to joining Helbiz, Mr. Spriano worked in the Executive Office of the Secretary General at the UN, collaborating with the Climate Action Team and the Sustainable Development Unit, and directly supporting the Secretary General and his climate change initiatives. He previously worked with various companies in the green energy sector, honing his skills through projects focused on renewable energy in Europe, Asia and Africa. Gian Luca received his J.D. in International European Law from the University of Turin and an LLM in International Environmental Law.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Profumo has served as our Chief Financial Officer since OctoberJuly 2018. Prior to joining Helbiz, Mr. Profumo worked at Rothschild & Co. in Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory from June 2017 to July 2018. From June 2015 to April 2017, Mr. Profumo served as an investment banking analyst at Citigroup Inc. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Profumo held multiple roles at Huawei Technologies including Corporate Development Manager and Telecommunications Financial Analyst. Mr. Profumo holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from LUISS Guido Carli University.
