George has over 30 years ICT and business experience predominately in Software as a Service (SaaS), big data analytics, digital media, Internet of Things (IoT), and network infrastructure areas.

He holds a Bachelor of Business (Computing), a Graduate Certificate of Management, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

George has held senior management positions in Technology, Banking and Finance, Telecommunications, and Government sectors.

In 2007 George was recognized by Bulletin Magazine as a member of their “Smart 100” list, which identified the 100 brightest individuals in Australia. He was listed in the same top 10 technology cohort as the Atlassian co-founders.
