Rohit Nadhani, a serial entrepreneur with a history of successful ventures, is the visionary Founder and CEO of Kubera. Residing in Palo Alto, California, with his family, Rohit has continually demonstrated his ability to identify niches and create solutions that resonate with users. His prior successful ventures include Webyog, a database tools provider with over 35,000 customers that was acquired in 2018, and CloudMagic, the creator of the Newton email app, which was also acquired in 2018.

A life-altering incident in Costa Rica, where Rohit was rescued from a dangerous rip tide, prompted a reflective pause and catalyzed the inception of Kubera. On returning home, Rohit meticulously listed all his assets on a Google Sheet, sharing it with his wife as a precautionary measure. The exercise, initially perceived as straightforward, morphed into a complex endeavor as the diversity of assets – including crypto, private and foreign investments, collectibles, precious metals, domain names, and other digital assets – burgeoned the list.

Rohit envisioned a platform with functionalities that enabled automatic updates of asset values and a secure, future-access sharing feature for his family, coining the concept “Share, but not yet.” Dissatisfied with existing platforms that aggregated financial data but were often intrusive and disproportionately focused on budgeting, he sought a solution that was seamless, private, and tailored to his needs.

Conversations with his co-founders revealed a common thread: they, too, were grappling with managing intricate asset spreadsheets. Further discussions with peers illuminated that this was not an isolated struggle but a pervasive issue. Recognizing a collective need for a well-designed, technologically advanced solution, the team regrouped, committed to addressing this universal challenge.

United by a shared objective, Rohit and his team embarked on the journey to develop Kubera. Named after the lord of wealth, Kubera epitomizes a blend of innovative design and cutting-edge technology, aiming to demystify and streamline asset management for all.
