Theresa W. Carey has been reviewing technology for traders and investors since 1990. She was a contributing editor to Barron’s for 23 years, and a senior editor at Investopedia from 2018-2020. She is currently consulting to fintech firms, both startups and established players, who are changing up their product offerings.  Theresa holds a M.S. in Econometrics from Santa Clara University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. She lives in northern California.
