Edward Karr founded U.S. Gold Corp. and was the former President, CEO and Executive Chairman. Mr. Karr is an international entrepreneur and founder of several investment management companies based in Geneva, Switzerland. Mr. Karr was the founder and an Independent Director of Pershing Gold Corp., an emerging Nevada gold producer until its merger with Americas Gold & Silver Corporation (USAS). Mr. Karr was an Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Levon Resources (LVN-TSX) until its merger with Discovery Metals Corp. (DSV-TSX). Mr. Karr is a board member and past President of the American International Club of Geneva. Mr. Karr has more than 25 years of capital markets experience as an executive manager, money manager and investor. He has served on numerous public company boards. In 2004, Futures Magazine named Mr. Karr as one of the world’s Top Traders. He is a frequent contributor to the financial press. Mr. Karr previously worked for Prudential Securities in the United States. Before his entry into the financial services arena, Mr. Karr was affiliated with the United States Antarctic Program and spent thirteen consecutive months working in the Antarctic, receiving the Antarctic Service Medal for winter over contributions of courage, sacrifice and devotion.
