Chairman and CEO of Ur-Energy, Mr. Klenda co-founded the Company in 2004. Prior to that
time, he had more than 20 years’ experience advising and assisting companies seeking financing and entry into the U.S. securities markets. Over the last 35 years, Mr. Klenda has acted as an officer and/or director of numerous publicly traded companies, since taking his first company public at age 28.

Mr. Klenda has served as Chairman of Ur-Energy’s Board since 2006. He currently is President and Chief Executive Officer, having served as Executive Director from 2006 – 2015. Ur-Energy’s flagship Lost Creek facility in Wyoming has been safely and reliably producing uranium yellowcake for more than seven years. Lost Creek has set the standard for lowest-cost production operations among publicly traded uranium companies. The Company’s second project, Shirley Basin, has recently received all major permits and authorizations for construction and operations.
