Michael has held the position of president and CEO of Daxor Corporation since December 2015. Prior to this, he served as a member of the board of directors before joining Daxor’s executive team in December of 2014. Michael has over 25 years of experience on Wall Street and in the medical field. He served as a managing director and portfolio manager for Morgan Stanley for six years and a managing director of Millennium Partners for eight years in addition to leading his own hedge fund, Aristarc Capital, from 2009 to 2013.

Michael began his career at D.E. Shaw & Co. in New York, where he worked with Jeffery Bezos prior to Bezos’s founding of Amazon. Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in pre-med studies at Columbia College, Columbia University in 1991. Michael’s interests include photography and travel.
