Liz Claiborne, Inc. (NYSE: LIZ) was today’s top percentage mover and zoomed 30.96% to closed the day at $6.81 with a day volume of 22.01 million shares. Today Liz Claiborne Inc. said J.C. Penney Co. will be the exclusive department-store outlet for two namesake brands in the U.S., while QVC, the cable shopping network, will handle distribution of the apparel maker’s New York brand.

Century Aluminum Company (NASDAQ: CENX) climbed 11.50% to $10.76 after AA reported a surprised numbers. The stock has rallied over 900% from its 52-week low of $1.04.

Hemispherx BioPharma, Inc (AMEX: HEB) rose 12.72% to $1.95 on 6.32 million shares. Shares of HEB have recovered about 780% from its year’s low of $0.26.

Hawk Corporation (AMEX:H WK) soared 12.58% to $16.20 on over 209K shares – 11X its average volume. HWK is almost doubled from its 52week low price of$8.50.
