Apple May Buy Chinese Software Maker

Apple AAPL will reportedly use some of its $46 billion in cash to buy China's Handseeing, a privately held software developer. A Handseeing executive confirmed his company is in talks with Apple and said a deal could be struck by September. Further details weren't reported. The acquisition would be Apple's first major purchase in China. Apple is the second-largest U.S. company by market value. Apple has more cash on hand than any other U.S. tech firm.
