Real Estate Plans

First American Home Warranty has plans for Realtors who want to give their clients a warranty when they buy a home to protect them from any unexpected repairs they may have to pay for after the sale. The seller can also buy a policy if they want to protect themselves from liability issues that could arise if the buyer needs to fix something in the house that the seller didn't know about.

There is a Basic option for both buyers and sellers. First Class Upgrade is a type of coverage that sellers can choose to add. It covers heating, air conditioning and ductwork (details on the First Class Upgrade can be found here).

When you get your contract number, the seller's insurance starts, lasting until the listing ends (not to exceed 180 days). The company may decide to extend the seller's coverage. Additional refrigeration, a washer and dryer, a first-class upgrade, a kitchen refrigerator, pool and spa equipment, septic tank pumping and system and a well pump are all things that buyers can choose to cover.

For pricing on real estate plans, you must contact an area manager from the real estate professional page
