Raging Bull
Overall Rating:
securely through Raging Bull's website

RagingBull is a trading and investing community for active traders looking to gain an edge from a team of experts. RagingBull combines a number of paid subscriptions like Weekly Money Multiplier and Profit Prism Platinum with free training services and education, market news and commentary, and seminars on a wide range of trading strategies and ideas. RagingBull isn’t a broker, nor is it a registered investment advisor. But, RagingBull does have a team of experts with proven track records.

The premium services might be too pricey for investors with limited capital (annual subscription services often have 4-digit price tags) and not every strategy will be workable for all traders. RagingBull does well, however, to bring a 1-stop-shop vibe to the trading community with its variety of offers. Plus, there’s plenty of free education and reading material even if you don’t part with 1 single penny.

Pros
  • Free and premium services
  • Different strategies for different markets
  • Daily updates and market commentary
Cons
  • Premium services expensive for new traders
  • Not a registered investment advisor

What is RagingBull?

If you’ve ever played fantasy football, you’re probably familiar with sites like RotoWorld or FantasyPros, which aggregate various player rankings and strategies from different experts. You’ll have the latest from ESPN analysts, CBS Sports TV hosts and an array of fantasy football-picking aficionados.

In many ways, fantasy football and stock picking are similar. You’re looking for undervalued players who are set up in good environments to succeed. Buying low on slumping players and selling high on the overachievers is a tried-and-true strategy, just like buying low on undervalued stocks and selling them high once they’ve taken off.

RagingBull brings together trading experts and stock pickers to form a single community where investors can pick and choose their preferred strategies or services. Market experts like Jason Bond, Jeff Williams, Nathan Bear, and Kyle Dennis have their services available for RagingBull members, and soon you’ll be able to tap all their programs for 1 single price.

RagingBull Features and Offerings

With 7 different market experts offering their skills and techniques to RagingBull clients, there’s no shortage of training seminars and videos for your consumption. Some of RagingBull’s most popular features include:

Fast 5 Trades

Kyle Dennis is a multimillionaire trader who now offers advice and training to clients through programs like Fast 5 Trades, Dollar Ace and the Sniper Report. With Fast 5 Trades, you’ll get not only Dennis’ highest conviction trade ideas delivered right to your phone, but you’ll also get access to his book Middle Class Millionaire, 5-minute webinars and all previous trade alerts.

Monday Movers

Want to learn how to make money over the weekend? With the Monday Movers feature, you’ll get stock picks from Jason Bond to hold over the weekend with the potential to jump big in premarket the following Monday. Monday Movers is a simple 15-minute weekly trading seminar that goes over the fundamentals of weekend trading, what to look for in Monday morning news briefs, plus access to two of Jason’s trading books.

BullsEye Trades

Maybe you’re just looking for one high conviction trade per week to boost your portfolio. If that’s the case, Bullseye Trades from Jeff Bishop might be your ideal service. You’ll just get one weekly update — Jeff’s best options trade idea of the week, usually on Monday morning before the market opens. You’ll also receive alerts for Jeff’s training events, many of which are offered completely free.

Dollar Ace

Not everyone using RagingBull needs to have a 6-figure brokerage account or access to endless capital. Dollar Ace from Kyle Dennis uses a proprietary trading scanner to locate options contracts priced under $1 that are poised to blow up. By locating cheap options, new traders can quickly build up their account balances and expand their operations into different, more expensive securities. The initial training session is free, too.

RagingBull Fees

RagingBull has a varied fee structure depending on the different services you want to subscribe to. Many of the articles and webinars are completely free to browse at your leisure, but the premium packages usually come with an annual subscription cost, which can often be high.

Some services like the Sniper Report from Kyle Dennis only run $199 per year, which can pay for itself in 1 single trade if executed properly. But then there’s the Weekly Money Multiplier program, which offers video training, SMS alerts and access to the instructor’s live portfolio for an annual fee of $1,497. You can choose the various newsletters and alert services a la carte with no obligation, but a 4-digit price for investment advice from a non registered advisor might not be a comfortable buy for many newer investors.

RagingBull Mobile App

Available at the Google Play and Apple App Stores, the RagingBull app is a sleek mobile version of the community where access to your favorite subscriptions and videos is always just a few taps away. You can add alerts to your newsfeed and get real-time updates from your favorite trading experts. Plus, the app is a small package, only eating up 19 MBs of space on your smartphone’s hard drive. There aren’t any unique features or extra bells and whistles, but if you’re going to sign up for SMS and phone alerts, why not receive them all in the same place?

RagingBull Education

RagingBull really shines when it comes to informing its clients in helpful and accessible ways. Trading can be an intimidating game, especially when using derivatives like options where profits and losses can gyrate wildly. RagingBull offers a free trading manual to everyone who visits its website — it’s true, copies can be downloaded at any time — but provides in-depth market commentary and explanations on popular trading strategies.

In the Articles section, you’ll get a primer on stock market basics and how to trade securities like options and penny stocks. Under the Education tab, articles explaining options strategies like covered calls and butterfly spreads can be found, along with explanations for concepts like Sharpe Ratios and how to use trailing-twelve-month (TTM) data.

You can also listen to the Wealth Wise Podcast featuring many of RagingBull’s popular personalities like Nathan Bear and Ben Sturgill. Having written, video and audio mediums greatly enhances the user experience at RagingBull and allows clients to learn new things whenever they have time to take in a 5-minute video. All articles and videos are free — no subscription required in the education section.

RagingBull Customer Support

We love our live chat support options here at Benzinga, but unfortunately, RagingBull doesn’t offer such customer service. There are still plenty of ways to get in touch with the company, plus each trading expert has their social media information list on their bio pages. Here are the easiest ways to get in touch.

RagingBull Overall Rating

RagingBull’s services won’t be for everyone. These are complex market trading strategies that always run the risk of failure. Alerts pop up easily on your smartphone and plenty of testimonials back up the claims of the market gurus, but individual performance in these types of subscription services will always vary. Even if the wisest trader misses things sometimes, and you might get discouraged if you sign up and find your chosen expert is in the middle of an extended slump.

Traders like Jason Bond, Jeff Bishop and Kyle Dennis have proven track records, and the free education materials and videos offered by RagingBull are worth checking out. You can also view charts and fundamental data about individual securities just like you could with your broker. The mobile app allows you to combine services into a single newsfeed and there’s enough variance in the price points that all traders will find something in their budget.

Keep in mind that the experts at RagingBull aren’t registered investment advisors and they go to great lengths to remind clients that past performance is no guarantee of future performance. The disclaimer is long but clear — these traders publish their ideas and make recommendations, but it’s not individually-tailored investment advice. Just because you get an alert on a stock doesn’t mean you should automatically trade it. Always consider your financial picture and risk tolerances before signing up for any SMS alert subscription service.
