Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Inc., secretly filed a lawsuit against singer Grimes last month, seeking to establish a relationship and access to their three children.
According to a report by Business Insider, the lawsuit, filed on Sep. 7, accused Grimes of moving to California to evade the jurisdiction of Texas courts. The case was served to Grimes on Sep. 13. On Sep. 29, Grimes filed her own lawsuit against Musk, seeking physical custody of their children and a restraining order to prevent them from being moved out of California.
Details of the case were kept confidential, with the children’s names not used and the parties identified only by their middle initials. Musk stated that revealing specifics could pose a risk to the health, safety, or liberty of himself, Grimes, and their children.
